love dust - vintage bridal

the morning of this shoot was spent rolling through pastures of green, i saw pathways leading into the middle of a forest of trees and cows bathing in the sunlight. we arrived at an enormous abandoned building and while the girls were getting their makeup ready, matt and i took the time to explore the staircases that led to nowhere and all the door which led to half-levels and dusty rooms. we then spent the entire day running around these broken down rooms, taking photos and took advantage of the amazing sunset out in the open fields.

its the most fun when you can get a team together who are crazily talented and amazing at what they do, and here they are:

photographers: myself & matt of evoke images - check out matt's photos from the day here
models: bridgette abood & eliza monaghan
makeup & hair: abbey love .com.au
headpieces: amy oram
flowers: kasey mumford flowers

  14. thank you sooo much everyone x

mackenzie, i just shoot angled so i'm not completely shooting backlit and not completely shooting in harsh sunlight, that's what makes the tones even in the afternoon!

iona, yes i use raw presets that i have made and collected over the years. the black and white one i've actually released in curve form through free curve friday, its called queen of hearts if you wanted to have a look!
